Make a reservation

Parties of up to 30 guests are welcome

We will take a reservation for 8–12 in the main dining room, and you can reserve The Room for a minimum of 20 up to 30 guests.

Need a private dinner meeting, business presentation, bridal luncheon, or just a quiet evening meal? We can do that for you in our private dining room.

From intimate to large events, The Room at Kool Beanz has the food, atmosphere and space to make your event a memorable experience. You can even design your own menu with help from our fantastic chefs. Up to 30 can be served in this great space.

What it is used for

Everything a small city needs a private room for

Over the years this space has hosted most of the important evenings a person has.

Business lunches & dinner meetings

Quiet enough to talk across a table, private enough to say things you would not say in the main room, and close enough to the Capitol to be convenient.

Bridal luncheons & rehearsal dinners

A room of your own for the people who matter most, with a menu written for the occasion instead of pulled off a shelf.

Wine tastings

Bottles chosen for the evening and food built around them. Ask about pairing dinners when you call.

Fundraising events

Charity evenings are a regular fixture here — the St. Francis Wildlife fundraiser among them, complete with a live owl.

Birthdays & retirements

Thirty of your favourite people, one long table, and dessert from a James Beard-recognised pastry section.

Design your own menu

The single best reason to book The Room. Sit down with our chefs and build the meal, course by course, around your guests.

Reservation questions

How many people fit in The Room?

A minimum of 20 and a maximum of 30 guests. Below 20 we can often seat you in the main dining room instead — we take bookings there for parties of 8 to 12.

How do I book it?

Call The Room directly on (850) 999-1372, any day between 11 AM and 10 PM. You will speak to someone who can talk through dates, numbers and menu ideas in one call.

Can we choose our own menu?

Yes, and this is the part people enjoy most. Rather than picking from a fixed banquet sheet, you design the menu with our chefs. Tell us the occasion, the budget, the dietary requirements and the mood, and the kitchen will build something for your evening.

How far ahead should I book?

As far ahead as you can, particularly for December, graduation weekends, legislative session and wedding season. Short-notice dates do come up — it is always worth asking.

Is there a separate entrance and restroom?

The Room is a self-contained space with its own character — quieter walls, its own art, and none of the noise of the main dining room. Ask when you call about specific arrangements for your event.

Can we bring decorations, a cake or a projector?

Business presentations, bridal luncheons and fundraisers all happen in here regularly, so the answer is usually yes. Discuss the specifics when you book so we can set the room up properly for you.
